GenPrime was founded by a team of power electronics engineers who saw an industry gap: most UPS systems were designed for ideal conditions, not the real-world challenges of industrial environments — unstable mains, extreme temperatures, corrosive atmospheres, and tight spaces.

Today, GenPrime operates three manufacturing facilities across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, employing over 3,200 engineers, production specialists, and service professionals. Our R&D investment exceeds 9% of annual revenue, translating into 280 active patents across modular UPS architecture, active power factor correction, and intelligent battery management.
